a mate of mine is having a few problems with his wrx,he had it fitted with an apexi avc-r and it ran fine for a while and was pretty quick, then the management light kept coming on,so off to subaru main dealer,he says air flow sensor is faulty and fits a new one(£500)!car comes out still the same.back he goes a few days later to the main dealer who now says it is a faulty crank sensor, and fits a new one of those, you guessed it,exactly the same.the outcome now is he has spent about £700 ,the car has no apexi controller(main dealer said it was crap)no power and it just a slug to drive,he just needs someone who knows what they are talking about to re-set his car up.northwest area would be great but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try Prosport in stockport. and he was robbed! you can get the MAF sensor seperately from the sensor housing, should be around £80, not £500! Get them to take that off and put his old one back on if it didnt rectify the problem. Same with the sensor!

I'll vouch for prosport in stockport too, I'm dropping my car off there tomorrow, one to get the geometry done after clouting a bloody great hole, and two, for my group buy pod and gauge fitment.
Will you be in tomorrow john?
May see you then,
chris.
