<Slight thread hijack>
Everything listed : category one alarm, central locking, electric windows and mirrors, climate control, low level rear spoiler : is part of the standard spec. What you are buying is a standard WRX. Base your price estimate on that consideration unless there actually are any other extras that you have not listed.
It does make me laugh when dealers list standard spec as if extras.

True MY02 has the aerial in the rear window, so no external aerial. MY01 bugeye has external aerial in the A-pillar. MY02 has light around ignition key slot in steering column.
Check that car is UK supplied, rather than a full UK spec euro import as this will affect price (but shouldn't really).
Realistic mpg approx. 23on an average day.
P.S. Calling them scobby's will limit the number of sensible replys that you get. Knock £5 off the price and treat yourself to a spellchecker![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I don't know if it will be any help to you but I sold a MY01 WRX to a dealer in July for £13500. It had done 18K and had Prodrive Headlights, Prodrive Upper & Lower Mesh Grills, Prodrive Boot Spoiler, Prodrive Backbox and 3 Gauge Defi pods. I don't know what they sold it on at but I suspect it was a lot more than they gave me.

that was private mind you... was what the dealer was offering him... needless to say i didnt haggle![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
needed new front pads and a service...
I think parkers has it valued at about £13k at the moment but i think they are selling for more than parkers... wasnt about to pay for a glass's estimate...

Just for reference, Escort GTIs do exist, from about P plates onwards. I believe they are just 1.8i's not sure of power, but they DO exist, there is one over the road from me and i have seen several others on the road.
They just replaced the XR3i in the very last escort revision.

The escort GTi is the same running gear as the 1.8 si but has colour coded side skirts and nicer interior, (normally leather). its more of a spec than anything beneficial to make it a true gti type model.
I had a escort 1.8si for a daily commuter runabout, fuel economy was shocking and it wasnt quick and handled like a jelly on a bent tea tray.
