yes, you need a T piece, take it from one of the hoses on the centre of the plenum near the throttle body, not the hose to the FPR.

V5 should be the same as an uk 99 such as mine - i think.
If this is the case - see where my white boost hose goes here

Exclamation

T into the hose position that does not have a hose attached on it in this picture. To the left of the two black hoses.

Cheers john,, thats much clearer,,, but you didn't have to rip the whole engine out to show me!

Scooblav.. fitted the press sender in place of the factory one under the alternator. Needed to extend it with a braided hose as I am using autometer gauges and the sender is too big to fit under the alternator. Bit of a pain to get to but worth it.

The temp sensor is fitted in the spare plug above cylinder #3 just below the turbo intercooler pipe. This was a Basket of a job as you have to take the intercooler off and the plug has an allen key slot which is virtually impossible to open. Used an adaptor from scoobymania to allow the autometer sensor to be fitted.

Real Bi8ch of a job but the end result is worth it!

Apparantly you can fit a bung in the sump and take it off there but I was told that the temp reading may not be accurate due to cold wind and water??

I have seen from the boards that most people recommend the piston three place although it is difficult to get to.
