I'm off to look at an old Toyota HiLux in a couple of hours (yes, I know - Top Gear bla bla).

What tips do you have when viewing second hand machines like this. Does anyone know these vehicles, and what specifically to look out for, or what questions to ask the seller?

can be expensive if in sh!te condition these!

expensive to run if it is a petrol model. bloody bouncy and uncomfortable on the road. not really advisable unless you really need an offraoder?

 

Is that for the school run then?
