Id say the spec C, 22B's arnt that fast in standard form and i dont think you would get a 22B type UK for 25 grand.
Now if your looking for a Subaru to keep as a claisic and to hold its value then the 22B is the car but as a drivers car.....Spec C.

Andy

Just think how quick the Spec C would be if you spent £2,500 on it!!!

I would go for the Spec C

It's down to peoples opinions, so I would have to say the Jap 22B the UK ones are like hens teeth with there only being 16 in the country. But the jap ones are faster standard. IMO. Went in a jap 22b my mate has one & then get back in my WRX it's like going back in time. I will have to settle with the STI6 type r when I save enough cash. £25k plus is toooo expensive for me at the moment.

Cheers

A spec C or S202 motec'd or similar will literally wipe the floor with a 22b.. even a Motec'd one .. everyone we have done hurts internal organs!

Mind you you can't beat the look of those arches.. and they will be a slow depreciator... so you will have great fun either way. Just see which comes along first!

Cheers

Choose 22b for pose value etc.

Choose Spec C for the outright performance (plus it will be new not S/Hand..)

ScoobyGav,

How do you arrive upon the judgement that buying a 22B will SAVE someone money as apposed to an S202 or Spec C!!!???

If it's a UK car (which I guess it must be if Robinsons are selling it) & it's still got a warranty then O.K.

But I doubt it

Break a 22B and sign over the house for the repair bill LOL.

Si,

O.K. -- Auto dccd is an evolved improvement over the antique in your 22B. Developed primarily because too many Butch 22B drivers ***** got bigger than their brains ending in offs (because they weren't actually man enough to handle the thing) LOL.
I'm sure most people would prefer an unbiased comparison from someone who has owned/had the opportunity to drive both cars at length. Trousers the man

Are u all kwazy, P1's rule this small planet, trust me, I have spoke to many 20 year old young ladies and they prefer the P1 than the 22B when there sitting next to each other.

And for those spec c's...................well its hard to tell if u see one (wrx or spec c)......................nuff said!

are we all going to bitch fight on this subject or agree that all the cars were talking about are awesome in there own way???

all i was saying was the uk 22b's have proven that they hold their value and the s202's dont as much. theres a guy around here who's been trying to get rid of one for ages and can't.

we need more time to see if the spec c's will also. IMO they will because they are a mega car and there won't be many of them

cant we help the guy on the original question with constructive answers rather than slag eachothers cars off???

gav..
