My cars only two months old and it's leaking water into the area under the back seat - it's a 4 door. Has anyone else had this problem?
I've dropped it off at the dealers today for them to have a look and try and fix it, I guess it's the rear window seal - I remeber reading a thread or two about leaky scooby's.

Must say I was a bit pised off as I bought the new car cos I'd had problems with second hand cars!

Not noticed any problems yet.
Have been out in the persisting rain today, so will check later and let you know.

no probs like that with my 03sti mate,

put it in under warrenty and get the dealer to wash carpet or you might end up with a car that smell like a swamp!!

I remember reading a thread or two about leaky scooby's
My MY99 used to leak into the spare wheel well (the word 'well' being very appropriate) but I haven't heard of MY03s leaking.

I had a VW Passat with a similar problem, footwell often had a few mm of water in. It was traced to a faulty seal on the aircon.

Does the inside of the door get wet and is there any sign of water in the heating ducts under the seat?

The door looks fine - I think it's coming down from the back of the seat right in the corner so i guess it could be from the rear window seal or the drain away pipe or whatever the subaru's have at the base of the rear window. Anyway I guess the dealer couldn't wish for better weather to identify the problem!

We'll see but in the meantime I'm in a Justy - marvelous!

I've got a leak in my 03 STi (thats leak as opposed to a Welsh leek) from the front of the drivers drivers door area. As I park on a hill with a bit of a camber I've been finding a small puddle where your right heel rests under the brake pedal, with a trail leading up the trim at the bottom front corner of the drivers door .

The cars in for its 20,000 tomorrow so will get it checked out then.
