No Kev. The 0w/40 version is a tad thinner than ideal, but there's no reason to drop a fresh fill just because of this, especially at this time of the year.
In fact, there's an argument to suggest that over the winter months, it may work better than the 15/50 blend, especially if the bulk of your journeys are fairly short (less than 30 minutes or so) and you don't habitually rag the car.
However, when you say you changed the oil a "while" ago, how long are you talking about? If it's been in more than 4000 miles, it wouldn't be a bad idea to change it anyway.
