PPP - got it at last!
#1
I've been reading various threads on PPP for the past year and wondering about taking the plunge - it is a lot of money for the upgrade, after all. So, I paid my £1600 and it's now done, and for anyone else sitting on the fence I can add my opinion.
DO IT.
The basic WRX is a truly smart performer and you may have be sceptical about the notion of making any noticable improvement. But it is definitely sharper.
It is undoubtably quicker off the mark and the tail-off is much higher on the rev count. That's enough on its own, but the real buzz is in mid-range where the surge seems to go on right up to the red line. In fact, you'll soon be into three figures and it's still pushing you in the back.
Anyone who's also had the upgrade will know exactly what I'm referring to. Only the very top super cars in the £100,000+ bracket are now any match, and even they have inferior grip.
