Cool

Having fitted a full s/s exhaust system to my 2002 wrx, what are the best next mods to do and in what order. ECU re-map is coming next spring so what should be done between now and then.

Cheers

Air filter maybe, you probably will not notice a difference but helps the engine breathe more easily.
Not much else you can do without a remap first

You've started of in the right area with a S/S full system and something like an green pannel air filter would take you a smaller step onwards, you could always add a dump if you want the Sssssssssh noise but you'll gain very little. Other than that your ECU is the biggy as opens up a new field game i.e Uprated Intercooler, Bigger Turbo, Uprated Injectors and fuel pump.

One thing that people tend overlook is the brakes, I went from the standard 02 WRX brakes system to 6 pot 335 big brake kit and noticed a massive difference. Handling I would recomend a good spring kit as it reduces body roll and you will feel much more confident. There's also a few quickshift systems out there that will shorten the throw.

Hope that helps mate

Throw away the clutch and flywheel and go for AP organic and lightened flywheel and pulleys. Clutch will handle any extra power you wish to add and light bits will let the car rev easier and change gear quicker.
Also as previous post, make sure chassis keeps up with power- brakes etc.
