ARRGHHHH, what a fool I am!

Fitted some new door speakers in my '97 Impreza today and now, for some insane reason, the passenger is stuck in the DOWN position..ARGHHHH..the criminal scumbags are gonna have a field day!!

I took off the door and the switch to operate the window on the passenger door practically blew to bits in my hands.

PLEASEEEEEEE, does anyone know any other way to get the window up for the night?

I can always order a part tommorow and get it to a car lecky, but DESPERATELY need to get the window up tonig(nope, doesn't work from the drivers side control panel either)

ANY hjelp will be VERY VERY VERY VERY much appreciated

Sounds dumb, but you didn't press the little switch on the drivers side that isolates ALL the other switches did you???

 

check it's not just the fuse you've taken out.......
Otherwise, I *think* you can physically move the window up...

You could (in desperation), run 12V from the battery and try and jump the window motor ?

Or get the sleeping bag and a flask of soup

Any mates with garages ?/ RAC/AA ?

Does you workplace have a secure car park ?

Park it VERY close to a wall ?
