If you use your own pic or one of another website you do not get charged, if you go into their backgrounds and use one they have set up it does cost you.

The only charge you pay is the cost of your wap call(using your standard wap no.) to download the image, it took me 15 seconds to download. I don't know what that will have cost in call charges but I bet it was not more than 10p.

I don't know how you got charge £1.50.

The steps are

1. open the site and got to free Stuff ( Bottom Right)
2. You will then see a list of phones and the size the logo can be.
3. Get the pic you want and resize it using paint or another program and save the image.
4. Click on browse on the Logogo page and find your pic.
5. When you press submit you will get a code and instructions.
6. On your mobile got to the wap site and scroll down until you see free stuff link.
7. You will then be asked for the pick up number given when you uploaded your image.
8. Then select your phone type from the list below the pickup no.
9. The image will then download so you can save it.

From that point on its down to your phone how you save and display the image, I know how to do it on a Nokia but thats about it.

If you are asked to send a text or ring another no. to get your logo something has gone wrong so don't do it

I had a look with an orange phone no probs for me

 

My phone is orange and I have download loads!
