Which Scooby?
#1
Hello everyone,
I want to get a scooby for my missus and as a family car.
Most probably will get a new shape STI but dont know which one to go for.
I also have a new Clio V6 which is my weekend toy and no good for the wife and kids.
Any ideas?
Sean

Hi! welcome to the forum m8. You have to be a bit patient on here for your questions to be answered. But when they are, they'll come flooding in. IMHO get yourself a late classic with a performance upgrade.

Its a brilliant car as a toy,no way practical enough for everyday use.
I own my own Roofing company so im always in a van most of the time.
Use the V6 for a bit of fun when im not working.

Nice, I take it, its the later car with the much stiffer rear subframe. The first cars where put together a bit quickly, the latter cars are meant to be much better and not as snappy.
I have a 53 plate STi type UK, very nice car to drive, a good all rounder. Not as savage as my previous EVO, but with most of the pace, I would reccomend one, easy to live with (and I bet its easier to drive in the wet than the Clio
