Question

BRD did a good price on TEK3 remaps a while back. Who would be interested if they would run this again?
My car got stuffed so I missed out on the last one.

yup. All sorted now they have the ecu code.

RR with no mods was 250hp / 236lb/ft so could be in order.

Right I've been trying to get hold of Bob, to pick his brains and to find out what is what. He's a hard man to get hold of, but I will persist.
I think the best time to start it will be just after crimbo, so hopefully everybody's bank account has recovered.
Andy - If there's any advice you could mail me or any relevent info, that would be useful and to prevent problems you encountered, it would be a great help.
Ian - Thanks for your info so far mate, I still have some more questions so i'll either mail you or when we meet up, i'll bend your ear then

Thanks

Good to see that there is some interest on this one, if we can get a reasonable group together we should hopefully get the similar rates to the last group buy.
This was not an insignificant saving!!

Simb & James

I've started the very same Group Buy on www.p1woc.co.uk

As a P1 owner I have posted it on there before going to Scoobynet - however I have had very little interest so far (just over a week).

I spoke to Bob regarding going on to Scoobynet and he recommended waiting till after Christmas in order to get the best response. But basically we wil need 10 takers to make it work and probably look to have the job done in March/ April time - he's fully booked up till Feb already.

All details of group buy prices can be seen on www.p1woc.co.uk

If you want to join in with me then you are welcome - if not then al least you can check out the prices.

Cheers

Terry

Terryb - I think it might be a good idea to start a new thread on Scoobynet and make it official, as your reach a wider market and hopefully get more intrest.
Edited as I have seen the prices now. Same as the last groupbuy which is good.

Roll up for a group buy!

Cheers for the offer Terry, but we'll run one from here as well.
Time to save up some pennies after Christmas!!

Guys,

Branko has given the go ahaead for this buy, but we need 10 or more people to secure the transaction.

Some people will need a 3 port solenoid to provide more accurate mapping.

Price to be confirmed by BR, but at the moment we are looking at around a £150-200 saving for the remap and solenoid, or £150 saving on the remap alone.

Please post interested names and I will create a list.
This will probably happen Feb / March 2004.

Can put me down provisionally but I already have a tek2 so it is an upgrade that I won't have to pay the license on, so my cost should be lower again. I may have to speak to BR about this myself unless branko can post up here and let me know if it is OK for me to join in...

Just a little bit of info about the costing involved.
