Unhappy

Am 27 now and owned car for 2 years now so probably should know better, the other day was giving it a well deserved wash when i saw the drivers side headlamp was smashed. It wasnt me, either some inconsiderate type at Asda/Sainsbury car park or a meteoroid or something. Anyhow - next day - Subaru/Gatwick Group @£450 for STI headlight or @£250 for uk classic headlight (with "greyness"
about MOT passing, due un-agustability) "greyness" from another source though, although the head light will apparently fit.
Was expecting £60 or so, as i said should have known better.
Advise please, Im in the SE near Gatwick.

dont understand the greyness?

my mate has jap spec crystal headlights in his uk car and there fine
he bought the jap ones as they were cheaper (with them not having the headlights adjusters etc etc)

dont see the problem as long as there all lined up
