Question

Morning folks,

Just a question about the above, mine arrived yesterday and very good quality and finishing i must say thanks Jamie, but has any one on here managed to fit this pod onto the hinges of the box where it fits? There is just enough room for a screw each side of the pod but i'm afraid of it cracking or splitting, and how long would it last before it split through being opened now and again.

I have given it a go at the moment with velcro sticky hooks at the front, back and sides but i'm still open to anyone elses methods.

I had noticed from other threads that people actually fit this pod using the hinges, but perhaps this was a different pod that they were talking about.

Thanks for any help and have a good new year to all.

James.

I've done the same thing and just stuck it down with some double sided sticky pads at the mo,, but I've heard that a good way of keeping it inplace withoput drilling any holes is to just use a thin bead of clear silicone and let it set.

this way it can be easily removed if needed.

hope this helps.

I used trim tape to fit mine.
The same stuff you use to fit bodyside mouldings.
It's lasted all through summer even with those really hot temps we had.
