My car (STi 2) started mis-firing - I was told it was prolly a cracked coil or two

Stripped it down and all the coils were fine - the spark plugs however were all fooked (1 yr old plugs)- one was even cracked. They were all covered in deposits and discoloured - appenrently this is because of the Octane Booster i'm using - either putting too much in or just the quality...

Well I have following the directions - one bottle per tankful (50l)so it must just be the quality

Has anyone else had any problems?

(Btw changed plugs and all is sweet)

ive used the stp once, seemed fine to start off with, now ive got all kinds of problems with the fueling, cars not running now, so wont be using it again, not sure if it was caused by the stp, but it seems strange it all started when i put the first bottle full in.
