Does anybody know anybody in the Merseyside or surrounding area, who does the 'Ecutec 3 ' re-maps for 'New Age' Imprezas ?.
Failing this, is there anybody offering a mobile service who would travel to the area?.
Also, any idea of a price.

Thanks.

i dont think there is anyone, but you could try prosport in stockport, they do some kinds of ecu remapping, i think they generaly do link ecu, but they will do ecutek or know someone who will do it if you ask them, cant be to far from you. You could always take out your ecu and send it to ecutek, they will give you an off the shelf map for about 500 pounds, but it means taking out the ecu urself and telling them what mods you have then being without your car for a few days. I would suggest better off going with a tek 3 from somewhere and taking a drive out for the day

Thank's Jason - You basically confirmed what I thought. I'll probably take a drive out to one of the companies offering the service.
Thanks again for your advice.

Prosport do MoTec ecus.

Have a look at the ECUTEK website - I think you'll find there are no north west based outfits - there certainly weren't when I looked b4 getting mine done. I got mine done by BRD in Swindon as part of the last groupbuy. You could always join in the current groupbuy to take advantage of the discount. It's an interesting day out!

Try Townend garage - (Steve Simpson?) does GEMs but they may have started doing ECUTEK?
