0 - 60 = stopwatch and passenger to push start stop, simple! Mine comes out at 5.4 seconds .......... who needs mods??
Top speed, very difficult - just make it up, say 153 mph?

taking into account approx 7% overreading of the speedo and a small error when starting and stopping the stopwatch will make any self test unreliable. You need to do it properly at one of the track events using the proper equipment.

£140 just to have some figures that mean nothing.
0-60 who cares as long as you get a good start and are faster than the other car.
Top speed, who cares how often can you do it before you lose your car for 12 months or cause a 15 car pile up.
Get a life, get the car modded and concentrate on being faster than the other guy, who cares about numbers.

Thanks
I'll use the top speed fig as I guess this wouldn't change as I mod the car
0-60 will have to be taken with every mod added so I think I'll try and go halfs with a mate of mine on it

My Sti V2 has 275ps (like ALL Sti V2's btw) i got a 13.6 quarter mile time although i dont know what my 0-60 is. That is with a damaged TMIC and no other mods apart from a panel filter.
Hope this helps

the race technology unit is a very accurate bit of kit ,my mate had his running against the gps system that performance vw magazine use,and there was if i recall about .1sec on the 0-60 and .25sec on the 1/4 mile, which for a bit of kit that sits on ya dash is pretty accurate ,for a bit of fun.Hope this helps

Have you heard of the new time used now? street time, 5-60mph!!
seems a more true time as awd will have a lesser effect.

That sounds a bit like a Labour Party trick Dave. "We don't like the way the figures look, so let's change the way they're measured"!
In any case, it makes little odds whether you measure from zero to 60 or 5 to 60, AWD will still have a clear advantage in preventing first gear wheelspin, provided you don't lose the boost.

Labour party, when I was in the Labour party, people used to accuse me of blatant electioneering!! "B*llocks" I used to say, Just vote for me and I'll give you the known world. So no change there then.
G.M. Think I'll go back in time 40 years, they used to do 0-50 runs then!! Think of the times we could post then eh!!!
