Thought this was funny. ITV had a story about people being in 4th and 5th gear around town, saying that it means you can accidentally go over the 30mph limit.
What about when you're in 2nd or 3rd in a quick car at 30mph and you sneeze or something!![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Anyway, made me laugh, dont promote people going over 30mph in build up areas for the record.
edit: topic was meant to say news, doh!

I once took (and failed) the Institute of Advanced Motorists Test, to help my insurance cost when I was younger.
I remember 3 things that the instructor marked me down for:-
1) Stopping at a Give Way junction in a town instead of rolling on!
2) Driving too slowly in 60 limit ( Doing 50, I kid you not)
3) Changing down a gear instead of using the foot brake to slow.
You have probably guessed that I'm not surprised by their latest 'advice' !!!
