There seem to be two different date formats in use here (see Gareth's profile), unless there were 18 months in the year back then

Got a feeling that 99 was the year when the wider world became scooby-aware. I was on the waiting list for my MY99 when I registered on SN in Jan 99. When it showed up in March, suddenly it seemed like the whole world was driving them!

That MY99 was brilliant. Followed it with an MY01 wagon which was also fantastic once the performance issues had been addressed. Sadly let it go last month for the reasons most people seem to get out of scooby ownership these days - bad image (!) and huge running costs.
