How to do a quick custom paint job:

On way home from work tonite ended up in a queue that ain't usually as bad. Eventually, got up to a point where there was obvious police activity and there was some paint tins lying at the side of the road.

Anyway the police waved the traffic on. Horror to dicover a bit further on that the road was awash with GLOSS paint and littered with paint tin lids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aswell as being extremely slippy at the time, when I got home I spent a good hour or so powerwashing paint from the sills, inside wheel arches, mudflaps & some splashed down the side.

Reckon if the car hadn't already been soaked when drove through the paint & the fact that it rained all the way home it could have been much worse.

Can't understand why the Police didn't close the road off completely. They had stopped traffic coming in the opposite direction.

What a fookin nightmare

damn sounds messy.
Good job you were on your way home and able to wash it straight away.
Bit daft letting cars drive through the paint. Could they have put some sand or something down to soak some of the paint?? That would have prevented some of the mess at least and got the road flowing again pretty quick. Bet the roads gonna look a right mess. It will look like our local B&Q car park ...paint tracks everywhere lol
Wonder what happened to get the paint there in the first place?

Incidently....There was a crash outside our house tonight.
(4th in 2years....we need to move house!)
A Jeep Wrangler pulling a horse box (no horse inside thankfully) smashed into a skip that next door have been using while they renovate their house.
He must have been going way over the 30 limit cos the skip ended up on top of our other neighbours car. Hell of a mess.
It happened at 5pm so you wouldn't have thought drink would have been involved but the guy failed the breath test. He was well in the red.
As usual the innocent party will be worse off, our neighbours car will certainly be a right off but the damage to the Wrangler wasn't too bad at all could have been driven away.
No one was hurt thankfully.
The skip was a bit bruised though!
