Question

Have a major service approaching on the scoob.

Who is best to use, one of the two indepenedent specialists in the area, Scoobysport or Extreme Scoobies, or the main dealer Days of Chelmsford.? Looking for good customer service, peace of mind that the car is safe in the hands of the garage and a reasonable price.

Used to use Osbournes in colchester but they have shut now IIRC.

Thanks

Geoff

Geoff , I've always used Days but must admit it's not always gone as smooth as silk .The Sales guys were as good as gold couldn't fault them , but the parts and service can be a bit hit and miss , nothing too serious just little niggles ,They will service on a Saturday morning though. I used Xtreme last month to get a replacement MAF (Days couldn't get one in for weeks )and found them friendly and helpfull, feels like they might actually care about what they do .I guess at the end of the day it comes down to whether you want that main dealer service stamp in the book or not , I guess it may be worth calling them both just to see what the difference in price is .
Hope this helps a little

Dave
