Hi all

I'm posting this to see if anybody has any tips for accuately locating and curing rattles. I have any annoying "metal-ey" rattle coming from the driver's door somewhere. Its a MY03 with 2000 miles. It is, though, distracting me from the other smaller rattles !!

I will try the dealers, but thought there might be some expert rattle fixers out there!

BTW is build quality getting worse. My MY02 was rattle free!

Cured one, was the switches for windows panel rattling in its housing but I've still got a rattle from the pillar itself, any ideas anyone?

Solution to subaru build quality:

1) Blindfold
2) Ear defenders
3) 'Steady cam' suit

Simon

PS my MY01 'Bugeye' GX was much better build quality

One of my annoying noises turned out to be a spot weld on the passenger door well.

It's not all bad.. The car is still quick as stink and has excellent grip compared to better built cars in the same class
