Cool

A quick thanks to all that replied to my request for help on roads in Scotland.
I headed up the A82 from Glasgow, just got past Tarbet and there was a crash so I turned around and headed up the A83,819,85,828 to Fort William.Thought about having a pint(or two) but took John's advice and went for a little drive!!
Took the A82 to Inverness then the A9 back down.At this point I was thinking all great roads but nothing better than North Wales(only 20 mins from home) that was until I went down the A86, what a bl##dy great road.
This morning I came home using the A82, the stretch between Ballachulish and Crianlarich is just unreal, I had to drive it twice because the first time I kept on stopping to take photos(amazing views!)This has got to be one of the best roads in the country, if you've ever thought about going for a driving day in Scotland but have not gone, GO!!
Graham

I go skiing every year in Fort William - you should try the A82 at 2am when there's nothing but you, a couple of HGV's and your headlight's reflecting in the dear's eyes in the middle of the road!

Fantastic
