Hi all,
Its been a long time between posts! I had two imprezas and loved them! but my new hobby is builting customer Harleys!.
Anywhy, I was thinking about getting another impreza, my brother has one a 02 full light converstion etc!!
I dont have that type of money, just got a house! So, I found a '95 Sportswagon, a few extra, nice price, 59K.
Question, What do I have to look for???? problem wise?
Thanks
Niall

Is it a UK or WRX version?
I had an MY95 UK 5dr.
Bear in mind that the UK cars had cr@p seats/interior until the facelift (97/97)
The only things I would say to watch out for apart from the usual stuff is :-
1. The bootlid wiring loom. Because the bootlid sees alot of action, the loom on the right hand side of the hinge takes a fair beating.
Mine resulted in a severed central-locking control to the boot. Which also affected the alarm.
2. Rocker Cover gaskets - potentially dangerous (fire/write off)
There are two either side of the engine (air filter side and screenwash reservior side). Not too expensive but a sod to do without the right tools.
3. Wheel bearings
4. antiroll bar links/bushes
5. Sunroof - if it comes with a factory sunroof, mine started to stick like mad when I sold it.
That's all that went wrong with mine in 3yrs of ownership.
As mentioned above, you've got a hefty service looming too.
hope this helps![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
