3door - CAR JACKED....help wanted...
#1
Last night at 10pm in the Castle Bromwich/ Smiths Wood area of Birmingham I was car jacked in the 3dr cossie. A silver rover 400 cut in front of me to stop me moving, whilst a number of masked guys approached the car. They smashed the drivers window punched me in the face and dragged me from the car. They hit me over the head and then proceded to try to beat me up and steal my wallet. I managed to defend myself and get away with my wallet and phone but unfortunately the 3dr was taken.
I have been to hospital and had stitches in my head and am now back home recovering but urge anyone who may have any idea about this to contact me. There will be a reward for the return of the car.
Lastly if you can all be vigilant should the car be broken and sold in bits or to any breakers please be aware of people trying to sell cosworth parts. Theres very little standard about the engine bay so if you should be offered any of the parts fitted to my car please let me know. If you need pictures of the car to remind yourself look in the gallery on my website.
Many thanks.

Karl,
Sorry to hear about what happened. Somebody tried to carjack my wife and I about six months ago, but fortunately we managed to get away. I hope you manage to trace the b@stards...
Mark.

Sorry to hear this mate!!
I dont think there is alot you can do when this happens. They dont even have the decency just to take the car and leave you alone. T*ssers!!!
I would imagine that it will be used as a getaway car rather than stripping for parts. Thats what they do up in Yorkshire. My mates a copper and hes aware of loads of jobs done this way.

A bit of advice, I was told this by a Policeman.
Dont carry your license or anything that can identify you and your home address with you in the car so they cant rob your house as well.
They can also do credit check on any visa cards etc and find out where you live from there for a small fee.
Pretty scarey really.
Sorry to hear about the incident ant have been very nice for you, a mate of mine was robbed at gun point and he wasn't right for weeks.

Really sorry to hear this No person should have to put up with this
I thought about blackjack but to be honest thugs like this I'd prefer them to be Far away from me as possible
I wouldn't want them to come back and then to beat the Cr4p out of for the Blackjack code
Tony
Ps I'm going to put my Very small front numberplate back on, the Police always seem to be able to stop a car with these
