I currently have a scoob that will soon be up for sale but I have some non fitted mods and I dont know wether to sell them with the car or not. It could be a scooby with decat boost gauge and after market steering wheel and gear *** or a completely standard car. On one hand I think I will get more cash for seperate parts but I might no be able to sell them all and I don't know if a standard low milage car will sell quickly when most people seem to modify them. Any info appraciated as would comments on what a scooby sport/HKS decat sells for second hand.
cheers

IMO you're better taking off the mods as there's also the insurance factor to think of. Also a lot of people are wary of mods as there may be a balance between spending on upkeep and spending on the extra goodies that we're all tempted by! (sometimes has been in my case). I think you're also likely to get more money as there seems to be little difference between standard car price and modified car price when buying. Others may have different opinions of course. ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
edited to add: I might be interested in the scoobysport backbox if you can post it![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I've just been through the process and out of 6 genuine enquiries, 5 wanted a standard car. I spent good money stripping her down and then sold the parts separately on Scoobynet. You would be very fortunate indeed to land a buyer who was taken by the mods as we all have our own personal tastes. However, if you start with a standard car the buyer may want to make an offer for the mods separately nad then you're both happy.
Hope this helps

Having bought 1 Scoob 6 months ago and just about to collect on another. I'd tell you that I wouldn't generally speaking even look at a vehicle with bags of mods (other than a tidy set of wheels
). I certainly wouldn't pay a great deal extra for them if anything.
