Anyone see the page long article by that mentalist Victor Lewis-Smith in the Standard last night.

A whole page slandering Mr C and the program. He totally misses the point saying that 'toffee apple' ignores the needs of the ordinary motorist and the program is aimed at ageing lads who want a car that will do 180 mph, even though the legal limit is 70 mph.

I guess with a name like Victor he was destined to be a complete and utter (insert your choice of word here).

In fact it has so enraged me that I am going to compose an e-mail o the Evening Standard over the weekend.

Ironically in the same edition, there was not a single mention of the rally which Mcrae was leading and Burns was coming forth in. But they were grizelling earlier in the week about the British lack of winning.

V L-S has always been an utter tosser, I remember his early days writing nasty articles in the Time Out magazine.
