Hi,

I have just received my Knock Link... and was wondering if anybody in the Coventry area would like to help me fit it in return for a pint or two.

I would attempt it myself, but know I will bugger it up!

Ideally I would like to fit it this weekend, but I am flexible

Hi Mate, all I can offer is that I know most people fit them where the ashtray goes so its just a matter of finding a gromet on the bulkhead inside the engine bay to feed your wires through then finding the wires you need to take a feed off and that is where im going to need help!! :-) anyway glad you have got yours no sign of mine :-(

Fitted the KnockLink on Saturday...

Fitting it was quite easy (didn't remove the IC, loosened it though), but it took a while to sort the wiring out (taok out the centre console, and then it was straight forward - took power from the lighter socket).

I haven't found a good place to mount the box yet... it doesn't fit in the ashtray, so I am a bit stumped for a location. The easiest place is to the left and below the steering wheel (the right side of the centre console). I can see it if I look through the steering wheel, but that requires taking my eyes off the road and looking down

I have a MY95 WRX - so any help would be appreciated as to the best place to fit the box.
