What options are there instead of the square rear fog light on Jap Imports. STi White & Clear rear lights.
Would rather retain some kind of rear fog..![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

The lads with UK cars, but STI clear lights use one of the existing light clusters (inside the STI clears) for their fog.
Do the Japanese cars already have all the fog wiring?
I've seen a couple of other cars that cut and fitted a fog lamp into the rear bumper. That looks pretty neat.

Dumb question here but are there UK spec STi rear clusters that allow the rear fog to be fitted - £££ for these?
Any sugestions on this welcomed

Indeed you can, less work!
Chop the reversing light wire at the cluster and link your fog light wire to the bit of wire left on the lamp holder. Tape up the reversing wire and bingo.

No probs, I actually left the clear lens and used a red bulb, if you cant find any red bulbs then you can paint the clear ones with some glass paint. Not sure exactly what the paint is called but once applied you put the painted bulb in a warm oven and it bakes the paint on.

On my 03 I used the 21W filament of the sidelight bulb as a fog light. I now have two foglamps. dont know if this is possible with previous years, but seems the best solution to me.

Thanks Scoobydoo
Thats the way to do it !! LOL
Just fix it on a hinge and swing it up under the bumper if you have a foggy day just swing it back down in veiw the same as for the MOT..... other than that it is up out the way out of site with no visible means of fixing![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Silver Scooby sport, my car has a hinged jobbie You can still partially see it when it's folded up but looks much better than the fixed ones. I bought a red bulb from TSL, Notts a few weeks back. Just need to get round to fitting it into one of the reversing lights. If it looks crap then I'll revert back to how it is now.
