Hi guys
has anybody got any 'tricks of the trade ' regarding removing the dash top tray/vents on my my00 , cos i've attempted this today trying to fit my s.e.c.s monitor . heres qoute from instructions " remove the tray/lid/vent assembly.This takes a bit of effort....F@*K me ! , a bit of effort , just about pulled my back out !! , it aint gunna move by tugging at it i'm sure - if anyones got any reasonable suggestions then thanxs

believe me you need a lot of effort (remembering you have to remove the two screws). Just remember to pull hard towards you. You might fint it easier if you remove the cup holder to get a grip underneath it but we didn't when we did that fitment guide...

Also there are lugs either side that might require you to twist slightly...

from wot i remember it wasnt that much of a struggle, just a little bit of twist and tug
