I'm new with a 01 WRX Wagon. Noticed yesterday with 4 in and slow moving up long steep hill smeels from the clutch which I was using a lot. Have noticed it before in similar situations - any ideas please???

Also have an 01 wagon,
always get strong smell from clutch if reversing up a hill. Is also there if crawling up a hill but less dramatically.
I believe this is a standard feature.
