I CANT BELIEVE I HAVE GOT THE STI 8
hello people i am new to all this,i have had a impreza for 5 years a uk car.
but as from tomorrow i wil be the proud,owner of a wrx sti uk 8 with prodrive pack,the car is black mica paint and is ******* mint.
the wife said dont tell enyone till we pick it up.

STi8 isnt a bugeye GM, LOL
Technically the 2003 model year STi Type UK it isn't a number at all, but if you are going to continue the system that officially died with the STi6, 2001MY (which we didn't get in the UK) is the 7, 2002MY is the 8, 2003MY is the 9 and 2004MY (WR1 etc.) is the 10.

I'm not being pedantic, I'm being accurate. Not my fault the rest of you can't get it right.
Subaru don't officially tag these cars with numbers anymore, so officially there's no such thing as an STi7, 8, or 9. However, the numbering system I used above is the one used by Prodrive, and that's good enough for me.

square boot lock is the sti 9, GM is loading info from prodrive dude` that he already knew anyway!
but the most of us us including me know the latest STI as the the sti 8
even though strickly speaking we are wrong .
