Looked like a bargain to me, £15k for a UK car.

I don't know much about settling HP, but surely there is a way of sorting this out between you, the seller and the HP Co.??
You make cheque payable to finance co, seller pays a bit extra (if applicable) and the HP co. send you the log book.

Harry Boy,
The ad says a 03 WRX, sounds like a new shape to me.

not for me to sort out!!! If your selling a car you should have looked into the best way of clearing it first.. short term bank loan.. or get a quick overdraft.. then clear the HP.. the car would be ready to sell.. cars paid for in cash by new owner/buyer... money is then there to clear Loan/overdraft that paid of the HP.

Also i'm fully aware that it might be hard to get a loan to pay a car of if you have a large sum outstanding with HP ... banks will be very funny about loaning money like that. But there must be a way of doing it with out involving the new buyer... i know if you sold to a dealer they would clear the finance.. but i don't want that hassle.

I'm wanting a cash sale.. and drive back the car that day.
Just like Matt who bought my car.. Job done!
I'm not waiting for days while the cheque clears.. and then not waiting to get letter to say its all cleared.

as we all know.. you shouldn't sell a car unless you sort out the HP.
I sorted mine out before selling the car!
plus i didn't want two trips down to Heathrow and back.

I now have CASH available to temp someone.. or a dealer.
CASH IS KING

Danny.. it is a Blob eye.. as its in Auto Trader this week.

Salsa

Was at Stan Palmers yesterday and they had a WR Blue MY03 Blobeye WRX with a UK300 rear spoiler on the plot for £17k. I think it's had a PPP as well.

Any help

Phil,

You don't want a WRX mate. You still need to go out in mine to change your mind, Sti8PPP and springs!! Why settle for anything less, its not as though you can't afford it

Thanks for the offer.. but i'm looking for lower miles.. (my last car was hi milage when i bought it).. so this time i'm looking for no more than 11k miles on a max of a 12 month old car.
But.. if it were less.. yes i would.

I saw BLACK WRX 03 at Priory HONDA at Mansfield.. Euro Import.. under 4k miles!!! at £15495!!.. shame its black.

Stan Palmers car.. seen it on Auto Trader.. WTF is it with UK300 spoilers.. can't stand them !! lol also its 14k miles!! £17500!!!! on a 52plate!!! too expensive... also not wanting PPP either but the pimp tints are so me!

Beechdale Subaru Derby have an 03 12k mile WRX WR Blu £16995.

Steve..... when you going to pick me up?
and.. a WRX with Tec 3 = 290bhp anda shed load of Torque

Phil,

This might be worth a look - if you fancy a trip to Geordieland!

SUBARU IMPREZA WRX Alloys, CD front fogs, etc, only a few remaining £15,995 save £ 4250 1 ON LY (Northumbria Vehicle Co) Tel: 0191 236 3737 [T]

Why not give em a bell and see whats what?

Kev

Have you tried Well Lane Turbo in Batley Salsa.

They have 6 WRX 04 models. 60k warranty etc choice of colours £17495.00 on the road.

Again dont know if they're an import but would be surprised. The never seem to do imports on the Classics etc. Had my last two off them.

coming in from Malta at the mo from there.. wentthere last Tuesday for a look.
Still need an alarm etc.. and it works out just over £17k if you BUY more warranty etc!!

Heritage Subaru Leceister will do me BRAND new car at £18300!!!

But i'm looking for a nearly New to reduce costs etc.. and i don't want to lose the big £k drop from fore court depreciation when you drive it away.

with the Euro being Poor with the Pound.. you find that there are very little insentive to import the 'DUTCH' EU cars at the mo.. hence ppl/dealers bringing them in from Non EU countries like Cyprus and Malta.. as the exchange rate is better

I'll see what Well Lane have anyway tnx

Phil,

I saw the Black MY03 at Priory Honda (Mansfield) on Auto Trader last night and phoned up this morning. The car was advertised as having heated leather seats and electric sunroof so I assumed it was the SL model. The advert said 'European Import'

I phoned them today and the car had just come in. I asked them the country of supply and they didn't know. They phoned back with a px price on my car and I again asked them where the car was from. In the end I decided to go down and take a look at the car - the car has 'MOTORPOINT' on the registration plates so I guess it is not an EU Import with three years warranty, etc. Also, the car was just a standard WRX, no heated leather seats or electric sunroof. Not such a bargain...

Cheers,

Ian.
