Default Body servicing - worth doing on no-warranty EU cars?

My MY00 car is due for its 6 months service (6 month/52,500) in March and is an EU import. Having spoken to the dealer who is going to do it I asked about the bodywork service. He said that its mostly for the anti-corrosion warranty offered by Subaru on UK cars.

As my car is from Ireland its not on Subaru's database and therefore has no warranty. The dealer chap said its up to me but it can be done as an added "peace of mind" thing.

So is it worth me having the bodywork done anyway?

Not if your car is garaged and it shows no signs of rust IMHO. I doubt if you'll get a fraction back at resale for the cost.
