Cool How To Remove Subaru Side Lights.

As i was driveing today down cruising about i went over a hump and some how my driver side, side light had gone off only one was working i dont no much about how to remove the side light to check what is wrong dose any 1 kno how to remove a side light on a subaru impreza 1995 wrx if any one dose no it will be very help full thanks lads

On top of the headlight near to the side light you should see a screw going through a plastic tab on the side light which you need to remove sidelight should then come out.

I have tried that S.B but it would not still come out is it cliped in at the side of the side light or should i remove that screw and pull it out will it come out then and are u sure that there is only 1 screw and thats it thank for the help anyway dose any 1 else kno?

Hi, had to do mine today - yes its just the one screw, but you'll need quite a bit of brute force and ignorance to pull the unit forward, as its well clipped in place - or at least mine was!

cloth over a flat screw driver and gently lever it from the wing

There's a plastic peg at the back of the sidelight which is supposed to poke through a hole in the metal for alignment. However, the metal has a habit of cutting into the plastic, preventing the peg from being able to slide forwards. Nothing for it but brute force.

Try putting a screwdriver between the sidelight and headlamp to pry them apart slightly, then pull it forwards.
