MY03 - Disconnecting battery !!!
Hi
I'm about to install a new head unit - Alpine CDA 9811R, which requires a connection directly to the battery. I've found a cable route and obtained a fuse holder / cable etc.
What happens when / if I disconnect the battery ? Is there any alarm / immobiliser issues etc
Any advice greatly appreciated

This is what I suspected.
Anyone else know what the correct procedure for disconnection / reconnection is ?
I suppose I could always check with the dealer !!

There should be a valet mode on the alarm which should avoid this, last time I did similar was on the old cossy and all I had to do was disconnect it with the alarm disarmed and then get ready with the remote when you re connect to shut the alarm up when it goes off,
