What a horrid day, spent all day with my scoob on the back of an AA lorry. From Bodmin to Colchester! Oil leak from front crankshaft oil seal.
Fed up now, sulk, watched lots of other lucky people driving about in their scoobs.

DEC14N,
Be patient dude, it'll be sorted and back before you know it. In the last 10 1/2 months my car has been on the road approximately 2
. From April '03 when I cooked the engine, via 3 Central Subaru rebuilds over a four month period and subsequently a top quality Scoobyclinic rebuild only to be followed by a low speed front end prang (insurance job) just 5 days after.
I miss it so. But it'll be even better when I get it back.. hopefully in time for next weekend's Notts/Derby meet. And for all the misery it'll all be well worth the wait as the car will have been totally facelifted and customised with STi II ra spec engine and FMIC, custom under bonnet work etc.
So I understand how you feel, but keep your chin up - it could be much worse.
Kev
