Do you mean the JDM twin scroll turbo version or the non-turbo UK one, not driven either but would also be interested in feed back.
I was hopeful that they would bring the turbo version over with the new model but no they just give us a 3.0 litre lump with no manual option from what I can see![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)

Subaru is working on a 3.0 with manual, should be a ripper. As for the turbo, Euro 4 is tough, but there is a possibility in the next couple of years that one could make it UK way.
I had one for a month and enjoyed it tremendously, and was seriously surprised by the good fuel economy (I had an auto spec B, was getting better economy than my BE5 manual, and I wasn't hanging about). As for how they drive, I'd be biased, but the JDM turbos are a scream IMHO. Indecently quick, very dependable handling, good ride (except for the spec B, which is rather taught, but would be my choice if I was in the market) and nice interior. As a package, nothing comes close for the money here.
All IMHO etc.

I brought the 2.5SE Tourer, p'exed my old 02STi.
Very nice indeed, comfortable, quiet, well specced.
No ball of fire, but keep the revs below 4,500 and it's even quite refined for a 4 pot.
Plenty of low down torque with a sweet autobox means economy is good, I'm averaging 36mpg and have never dropped below 30mpg. (3400 miles in 4 weeks)
I'm very happy so far, so long as the curse of crap Subaru build quality doesn't rear its ugly head again.
Also it has to be the best looking estate car at the minute ?
I will dig my camera out and take a couple of snaps this weekend.
Don't really miss that rattly pile of crap 02STi, maybe a bit more oomph would be nice.
I'll take a good look at the Legacy STi when one of the importers has one in stock.

Have driven both the GT (turbo) and 2.5i... turbo incredible mix of performance and european quality.. only possible improvement, STi seats !!
2.5i, good all round car but could use more poke.. ie: Honda can get 140Kw from their 2.4 Accord Euro.. Vs only 121Kw from the 2.5i Legacy.
See my site for recent pix (thx the Winger Subaru)

For anyone who's interested in driving the new GTB, I'm pretty sure that David Hendrys - http://www.dhcars.co.uk/ - have at least one demonstrator.
Tentenths
They also have JDM WRXs and Forester XTs
