i did mine about 2 weeks ago, took about an hour
I didnt need to raise the engine, however:
Air box side.
1. remove air filter box complete
2. pull red rubber cap off, use handles, dont pull on lead
3. Use a spark plug socket, ratchet and a combination of extensions and remove spark plug
4. ensure new plug is set correct (0.7 mm i think, dont quote me)
5. replace in reverse order.
Battery side.
1. Remove or move washer resevoir (i just undid it and lifted it out)
2. repeat as for other side.
Note:
This was for a UK MY98
The spark plugs closest to the bulkhead are a bitch to get at, as the wing comes in (you'll see) and you have less room to get the ratchet/extension in.
I used the following tools to change the plugs (not inc airbox/washer bottle):
Ratchet
Spark plug socket
2" extension
3/4 -1/2" adaptor
18 mm (i think, could have been a 16mm) deep socket for the back ones
be patient
