...similar story to Markwild --> I've spent around 8K modifiying my MY02.

Bought it from Holland for 16.5K so I felt fully justified

Including mods (not too many, just downpipe, clear lenses, backbox) and fuel and insurance (only £670 per year) my MY99 cost £23,500 running costs only, over 26 months (40kmiles) to run

The only problem was being made redundant when a house purchase is about to complete!!! I'm sure I'd still have it now, if it wasn't for that!!

I just don't want to do it all again but I doubt I can afford to again!!

At least I can say I have done it!!!

Probably about £6k on my MY02 WRX....... example: I told wife that the old (1 year) intercooler was dirty and I needed a new "cleaner" Sti one with pink lettering. Worked a treat. just not sure about the excuse fot the APS frontmount.... suggestions enyone ????

Midlife.....

PS Ninnybobs has already used the excuse for the new FMIC "It needed a new radiator under warranty from subaru "" LOL
