Just placed a order for a new 4 door scooby in silver, 2 weeks to wait till i get it ,and i am looking for suggestions for extras to improve the car. I have already ordered the leather option, air con, colour coded the side skirts, and a momo aluminum gear ****,
any suggestions would be a great help

Prodrive performance pack - £2,000
If you value the warranty get it.
Otherwise, if you want a prettier car get the Prodrive rear spoiler - big thing like on STI5&6 - nice.
Furry dice?
Pine tree air freshner?

It all depends on what you want from the car!
If you are going to do a lot of fast road driving or track driving, then I'd recommend an upgraded brakes, and possibly uprated suspension. You can then also look at bigger wheels with better tyres, as the standard ones aren't the best looking in the world (my opinion). Quickshift is also an option, though the improvements on the newer cars aren't as dramatic as with the older cars, as they have improved the standard shift over the years.
Some people would however fit the Prodrive Performance Pack first, to give the car some extra oomph.
On the styling side, there is the obvious choice of the larger rear spoiler, and colour coding (which you have already ordered).
These are about the only extra worth having, as things like an ice warning indicator, or interior compass etc are only really useful if you live in the far north, or do navigational rallies....
I'd spend some time searching through this BBS, and reading owners comments on the various options, and then decide which ones would be of value to you, and then prioritise from there.

If you want to impress the world and his wife - gold 17" wheels and prodrive spoiler (or STI spoiler)
If you want to impress your passengers - prodrive performance pack for engine
If you want to impress yourself - AP brakes

The brake upgrade is a real tricky one. My first scoob after the Mondeo was such a step forward that I never really pushed the car or the brakes untill after I had had it a year, at which point I changed the car anyway.(went from MY97 to MY99)
Then I found that the brakes had improved again to the point that they were again adequate for my driving style - even with the Prodrive Performance Pack fitted(which no longer comes with a brake upgrade as Prodrive feel brakes are good enough for majority of their customers).
However, now I am more confident with the car, and press on much more I feel the brakes are definitely lacking - and I am currently looking to upgrade.
My dealer made a good point in that many of his customers don't go for the PPP until after they have run the car in and got used to it - this way you appreciate the money you spend all the more. :-)

(Spent as much as I am ever going to upgrading my MY99 to a 22B - d'oh!)

you've got the momo **** - excellent, very tactle, very "oooh matron", in fact, very graham norton.
if you're coding the side skirts, you may as well go the whole hog and do the door handles & mirrors (or do they comes as standard these days???)
scoobysport back box 'zorst and panel air filter: very rorty and a must-have. if you do, make sure you keep the standard back box to re-fit when you sell. the hayward&scott number scoobysport fit is made of aircraft steel, won't rot, is guaranteed for 25 years. you can swap it for the original box when you sell and stick the fat pipe on your next imp.
cibie oscar+ main beam lights to replace the fog lights. nice and bright.
scoobysport front lip spoiler: the only way you'll get a top nose job for £250. keep the original as per the back box. you can always re-spray it for the next one.
lastly, a dateless mark private plate: go to

Definitely do things bit at a time so you'll appreciate each little upgrade.
I do the exhaust first..Scoobysport back box for nice deep sound a bit louder.
Maybe follow this up with a better filter element or induction kit.
You might then want to think about some slight larger wheels such as 17" which will imrove the handling ,in conjunction with some better tyres, a tad but worsen the ride a little but will give you more room for a bigger set of stoppers...
Then think about brakes if you do alot of fast road driving or intend to do track days.
Then once you start getting a bit used to the power and want a bit more go for a power upgrade and you'll be able to use it and have the brakes to stop when you need to. Fair bit of choice what route to go and they'll be differences in opinions on this one so somoeones who got to this stage might want to make some suggestions.

Scoobysport, 17" OZs..now saving for those brakes...
