Saw it on a video today, not only did the spec C beat the evo round the track it was visibly quicker down the straights despite the guy in the evo flat shifting. (STI 7, EVO 7)

Then a race between the spec C, slightly modded STI7, slightly modded STI3, evo 7 rs, modded evo 5rs, modded evo 2 and a R34 GTR

results were,

Spec C
EVO 7
STI7 (which was getting held up by the EVO)
R34
STI3 (which was catching the R34)
EVO 5
EVO2 (by a long way)

And they were all driven by japanese maniacs determined to write each other off

I was quite surprised as i thought the evo's would be better.

Don't remember the name of the Vid, Motoring magazine maybe?? Vol.5 is all i know.

It's a jap vid with commentry by an american and subtitle's. Well worth getting IMHO.

It has 'Impreza vs EVO' on the front.
