hi all impreza enthusiasts.i have looked at ltregister few minutes ago.a lancer owner said that they have beaten scooby owners on the last track day ,and on every track day...
is it true??
i don't think it is.impreza owners can beat them easily i think.it must be untrue.because on every track imprezas beat evos(i read in magazines).
thanks for replies.....
(are there anyone that have been to track days which involves scoobies and evos)

Yagiz, or IZ GAY when simply rearranged, you seem to be one of those small group of people who manage to quite impressively embarass the rest of the true scooby enthusiasts as well as giving them (I'm not one quite yet!) a bad name with your frequently dense and irrelevant comments/questions...
You seem to be the only person who's marred my enthusiasm for my new scooby (fortunately not much) as this msg board has been a brilliant repository of info over the past week whilst waiting for my scoob.
Please hand in your keys to the nearest dealer telling them you're too stupid to own a scooby.

Yagiz,
Yet another stupid Impreza vs Evo post from you *sigh*.
Driver skill is going to be by far the biggest factor in such a comparison. If the Evo driver in question is telling the truth, then I would read nothing more into it than he was a more experienced track-day driver than any impreza drivers on that particular day.
Your comment "impreza owners can beat them easily" is incredibly naive, and your gullibility in believing EVERYTHING you read in magazines and applying it to the real world just beggars belief. If it said in a magazine that your impreza was waterproof and submersible, would you drive it into the nearest lake to get a closer look at the fish? If it said an impreza sport could out-drag a honda fireblade to 100mph, would you believe that too. In fact, do you apply any critical reasoning at all to anuthing that you read?
Do you really think that an impreza lapping a fraction of a second faster than an evo in the hands of an experienced driver driving both back to back, MUST MEAN that YOU and all impreza owners can simply clean up on the track?
In short, if your obvious lack of intellect is anything like your driving ability, then it's Fiesta XR2i's you should be looking out for on the track, not Evos.
Gary.

I've got a million (well I haven't really, just thought I'd exaggarrate some) that says that Gizza Kebab has been no where near a Scoob or Evo.

What do you pilot apart from pitta bread??
He he (harmless banter mode ahead of the footy tonight)

Yagiz,
Given that you are quite clearly incapable of reading, and intelligently responding to my post, I am not surprised that you are similarly inept when it comes to reading magazines.
Can I ask what EVIDENCE your statement that an impreza can eat in an evo on a track is based upon?
Given that both Evo and Impreza Sti have similar power to weight and torque to weight ratios, and both have similar(ish) and sophisticated 4WD hardware, then you would surely not expect one to "eat" the other would you? Please enlighten me.
Gary.

I think this is a typical example of a genuine, if misinformed, question giving people the impression that they have the right to totally cut down someone because of a lack of grammatical correctness or knowledge on the subject in question.
You may notice that Yagiz was actually being very polite and friendly in his question and at no time did he demonstrate any hostility, yet the rude remarks and big headed replies frankly offend me.
Has become totally typical of this club and the board.
I'd like to see any of you talk in a second language like he has. At least some of you gave back factual replies.

There seems to be an incresing amount of assuming people are thick as F$$k just because they make a slight spelling mistake or miss use and English phrase. If you have time to answer this guy's post, then do it, but I wish people would stop taking the p@@S all the time.

Yagiz,
If I appear unfriendly in my replies to this and other posts you have made, then it is as a result of the utter crap you are polluting this BBS with. I am trying to suggest that you think for yourself, and stop making posts which contain statements you quote as fact, but which actually have no supporting evidence whatsoever. Answer: THINK before you post, and you will receive a friendly reply.

Cem,
Agree with you totally mate. I reckon it's good form for people to either contribute to or ignore any inane queries or "stoopid" comments that wind them. Resorting to racial insults is more against the spirit of the board than any questions "Yagiz" may have posed.
Just so I can contribute to the post - Yagic, read Gary's wise words, once more . .
Suresh
P.S. I'm not a PC advocate, so please don't flame me! I like a good smutty or racist joke as much as the next man - but it does need to be a good one!

Jeez. Rubbish a guy's dumb post, fine, but do we really have to be so racist?
I got the impression from this board generally that Scoob owners had some sort of education. Some of you look no better than the Max Power jerks that you enjoy shredding.

Cem/Martin,
If your comments are directed at me, then I can assure you that my replies are not based upon quality of grammer and spelling. This is the latest in a long line of threads started by Yagiz, all basically saying "all imprezas are faster than anything else". Yagiz calls himself an impreza enthusiast, but I find it difficult for anyone who is a performance car enthusiast to be so naive and blinkered in his comments. He has provided none of his own opinions and experiences as evidence to the "facts" he is quoting. He repeatedly quotes from magazines as though they are gospel, and he cannot make an intelligent reply to anybody elses post in either good or bad English.
Viewed in isolation, I guess you could say that the replies here are somewhat insulting and harsh. However, if you take the time to go and look at the other threads Yagiz has started recently along the same lines, then I think you'll change your mind.

I understand whet your saying about useless threads etc, but you seem to find the time to answer them. I know this site was designed to interactive, but surely we only have to answer the posts we are instested in as genuine scooby peeps!! It just seems senseless to me to reply to someting that wastes your time.

Point taken Martin, but when I'm bored at work waiting for test runs to finish (like I am today), my mouse just drifts over the internet explorer icon
I have been genuinely trying to educate Yagiz a bit, and in some of the earlier threads have discussed some of my own experiences. I'm still trying, but I just seem to be banging my head against a wall, hence the insulting nature of some of my replies. Maybe I should stop replying to them, but as I said, I'm bored at the moment!

What amazes me about this board at the moment is the "pack following" mentality. Someone rubbishes someone else then gets loads of other posts supporting that. That post gets rubbished then a whole host of supporting posts follow.
This board seems too quick to create witch hunts.
And that's aimed at no-one in particular, just a general feeling that comes across.

Memo to Webmaster; must install software that filters/staggers posts, only allowing those with opposite opinion to previous posts.
Baaaaaaa, baaaaa...
Alternative memo; must install software that deletes pointless racial insults.
Scott, enjoy your football, but do us a favour and modify the above? Some might believe that you mean it, and it's too close to home for some of us.

I'm very disappointed that a board dedicated to Scoobies and thier enthusiasts can sink down to making personal insults to another person, some of them bordering on racist. OK so some of you may find his questions annoying , as he may have picked up half his knowledge from some magazine articles and not have the same experience of Scoobs vs Evo but if you don't like what he has to say don't reply.
Lets not have another "Splinter" episode.

Brendan you've obviously not read Craigs post??
Why don't you all just stop the slagging and lets get on with being constructive in aswering the posted questions.
We are divided on this one , which is plain to see.
A. THOSE THAT DON'T THINK THIS YAGIZ FELLA IS FOR REAL ....THEN DON'T ANSWER HIS POSTS (ME INCLUDED).
B.THOSE THAT ARE GOING TO CARRY ON NICELY ANSWERING HIS QUESTIONS....CARRY ON DOING SO.
BUT LETS NOT GET IN TO A SLAGGING MATCH WITH EACH OTHER ABOUT SOME GUY WHO POTENTIALLY IS 600 MILES AWAY!!
...END OF.....(we hope)

This is just ridiculous it amazes me how some people have reacted to this post.
I was being light hearted in my posts, most of you who have read my posts before will have found that I am happy to give my opinion and any help where I can. But I also have a sense of humour unlike some on this board.
You will notice I placed the light-hearted banter after my posts.
I answered thus as I wasn't sure whether or not this is one of those p1sh taken bar stewards ie Splinter and his various aliases and evo_vi.
Brendan you deeply offend me, my posts were lighted hearted yours are just plain obtuse. Get a sense of humor, no matter the language barrier I'm pretty sure anyone can see I was being silly and not serious.
Yagiz if I have upset you or caused offence to anyone then I apologise.
Adios for a while.
SJD

Fosters and SJD,
Come on guys, you're being a little OTT on the doing down front... making fun of someone's name and use of a language that isn't (from all accounts)their own mother tongue isn't cool.
Ian,
Nice one, I only wish I could reply in german (never liked french, not tecnical enough for me.). Must get around to learning another (non computer) language...
