Question dyno test

Going on friday to Well Lane to try and get my PPP working as it should.
Does dyno testing knacker tyres?
I heard that the walls of your tyres can be damaged when strapped down - so put on some goosed ones for rolling roads.
Anyone poopoo this as a load of bo**ox?
Or anyone got wheels and tyres for MY02 i can borrow
thx

It does increase wear but it depends how long you are on the rollers.
Whats wrong with the car?

Would that not be a job for Prodrive to sort out? or someone else who can access the Tek software?

i have a feeling the garage who installed PPP just slapped it in.....
didnt alter boost and play with things - as Well Lane will do.
besides i want to see what it is banging out - bhp and ft/lbs etc

Well Lane can only fit chips and bleed valves for adjusting boost - they do not have the ability to touch an Ecutek based map.
You are barking up the wrong tree for a fix on this one M8
