Question WHAT COLOUR CALIPERS?

bright red classic, 18" anthracite P1 alloys, but what colour do I paint the calipers? silver? black? red? I dont know

Before anyone tells me to upgrade my brakes.............I havent got the money just want to lose the rusty old brakes look.

Default Calipers !

Hello mate,

I reckon that you should have a look around and see if you can find some Chrome paint and then make them really shine out !

I have seen it somewhere but at work at the mo so cant think where ! If interested then i can look later for you ?

Failing that then i think Red Calipers always look good

Ben.

Has to Red if your alloys are anthracite. Halfords do some good stuff call foliatec, comes with everything you need aswell. It's also enough to do all four calipers, if you decide to do the back aswell.

Black might look good but red with those alloys look nice too. If you dont want to spend a fortune on the proper two pack paint caliper paint, get some gloss hammerite from Halfords. I know quite a few who have used this, its as good as the proper stuff.......

Whatever is your favourite colour! The Halfords caliper paint is good and it is easy to apply.

Thumbs up cheers

still not 100% sure about colour yet. must say though that I wont be using the 20 quid caliper paint kits. I`d rather use £5 hammerite which does the same job. used hammerite on all my previous cars calipers and its spot on.
just think that reds a bit lairy for me, and blue is too much of a contrast with my bright red paint work. I think i just talked myself into black LOL
