Just had a stone go through one of my foglights. Any ideas how much this is going to cost me? Secondly how hard are they to change?

The plastic cowling surrounding the light in the inset part of the bumper just pops off with a bit of a tug, dont use tools as it will mark the plastic just grip with fingers and pop it off.
The fog light has 3 bolts holding the light in place and should be easy to remove.
Check with the dealer as With the bugeye models you can get replacement lenses. If its been busted for a while and if water ingressed into it you might need a new reflector as well. A whole new unit is about £80 + vat AFAIKR.
I would remove it asses the damage and take it to the dealership to see what parts can be got.
(they now sell plastic stone gards for about £20 I would get some of those whilst getting your spare parts).
cheers
Peter

Thanks for that. Replacement is now on order along with the lamp guards (providing that IM have got them in the country) The dealer wasn't too confident about that.
