Just potentially sold my scoob (MY99 wagon, PPP, lots of sensible mods with 53k miles and in showroom condition (as the dealer agreed)).
I need something a bit more comfortable so I went to a Merc dealer and he offered me............£6000!!!!!!!!!
Anyone want to offer me some more? Otherwise it goes to him on Friday.
email me yorkmeister@hotmail.com
(Just put a post in the for sale section) I would take £7500 if quick!

That's poor - you would expect at least trade price which is what most dealers offer.
Damn I'm trying to sell my '97 Probe - look at this for a poor valuation

New price £18K - Good Private now 2K![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Try driving round a few 2nd car dealers see what they offer - I recently sold a Focus and they all offered £4.5K (parkers trade price) but I sold it private for £5.5K

I just checked the "What's it worth" price checker on Autotrader and you could get nearer £9k (without PPP) private, £7.5k p-ex.
Then I searched the cars for sale and at between £6-10k, all the wagons were 01 bugeyes with half your mileage for £8.5-10k. So the £6k might be realistic.
I'd put it on the Trader website for a couple of days at £8k and see what interest you can get. Worth trying £15 for a potential £1.5-2k benefit.
