I have just got some fog light covers for my MY03 impreza. Has anyone fitted these already? Looking at them they seem too big to fit behind the light trim as suggested in the instructions.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me. No pun intended

 

are these the clear stick on type or the wrap around bumper sti type ??.

if clear the supplier may have sent you 01 / 02 model version which are slightly to big.

if the sti type you have to remove the existing fog light surround first, it just pulls off with a sharp tug.

 

They are clear plastic which clip over the top of the light and have some plastic clips for the bottom. The box has got impreza III on them. Am I correct in asuming that is a MY03? Excuse ignorance but I am still new to scoobys

 

yep wrx III is the My 03 > actually if you say My03 to a dealer parts person they look at you a bit weird. I think it is a scoobynet thing.

cant help you im afraid I went for the sti ones in the end. I know the 02 ones ar too big as they didnt have any specific to the 03 and the 02 ones tried at the dealer wouldnt work out.

anybody else fitted the clear stone guars for the 03 wrx ??

 

Just checked the box and the subaru web site and the part numbers all tie up. SACC1246 if anyone is interested or can confirm.

hey pbee, how easy were the STi covers to fit? Literally just pull off the fog surrounds and clip on the new covers? 5 minute job?

I'd heard scare stories about drilling!
