Is anyone using a dawes afr meter and what should the readings be on tickover and cruise ( I know WOT should be green and defo not red) ?
PS mods can you leave this in general till midday for max exposure

You may find that you have no lights on cruise - depending on speed - This is not a problem as the Dawes AFR only shows the top 4 LEDs of a 10 pin output from the chip - Tickover will probably give a lower light christmas tree effect, WOT should give blue or green at low(ish) revs.
You may also get red if you use full throttle in 5th at <2K revs - Don't worry about that, as technically this is NOT WOT - But, I'd avoid straining an engine like that anyhow
Hope this helps,
Mark
PS _ You'll probably see some christmas light effects as you close the throttle too - nice if you're sitting in a traffic queue.....

no mate
its a Dawes and it should read green if tuned correctly, blue if rich amber if slightly lean and red if lean.
it just that me lamda sensor was knackered so got one of those universal ones as advised on hee ( hot wires, L300) but it always reading lean and I know its no lean cos its just been set up at RC Developements with an Apexi SAFCii.
just trying to make sure the lamda I've just fiited is crap before I pay over£120 for the oem one
